I’m a PNW wedding and beyond documentary style photographer living in the greater Seattle area with my husband, Kyle. If I’m not shooting or editing you can catch me antiquing, cooking, drinking coffee or hanging out with friends.
I have loved photography since I was a kid and have always seen it as a way to capture the beautiful moments in life so that you can cherish them forever. I have been documenting people’s love stories for 8 years now and it’s something I hope to do the rest of my life.
In 2019, I was blessed to have Life N Light photograph my special day. The love and passion they poured into their work, really showed me a new standard for photographing weddings from the client experience side. This sparked a fire to do what they did for me, for others.
I am so thankful for this career path that God has blessed me with and has given me faith to walk through season after season. He has blessed me with so many amazing clients that have all become friends. I hope that can be us soon! I can’t wait to work with you!

What I am known for:
If I had to say what I’m known for… maybe my red hair. Just kidding. The people closest to me say I’m intentional and detail oriented, someone who genuinely loves being around others and cares deeply. And that heart naturally flows into my work. I photograph couples and weddings near or far with intention and attention to detail, capturing each love story in a way that feels authentic, romantic, and true to who they are. My goal is to reflect not just how it looked, but how it felt! The emotion, the connection, and the little in between moments that make each couple uniquely them.
My Photography Style:
My eye for detail and love for nostalgia is my superpower.
And that pours into my photography style. Which people describe as romantic, natural, movement driven.
I want to create art and collaborate with intention and care. Which is how I get this style.
My heart is to capture your day in a way that feels natural and honest. So when you look back at your photos, you don’t just see them. You feel the emotion all over again and truly relive the day

KYLE!
Kyle is my lovely husband who introduced me into the technical + artsy side of photography in 2014. We are high school sweethearts, and our first dates started with “Photography Adventures”
He is a full time graphic designer and his eye for design, detail pours into his work when we do work together.
There is something so special about photographing couples together as a married couple who has experienced the joy and gift marriage is.
You’ll see and or meet Kyle when we travel to you, your session or if you add a second photographer to your wedding!

A little backstory…
I Temika, have been photographing weddings since 2017 and in 2018 I met and joined the LifeNLight team. LifeNLight has always photographed weddings “ on the side” over the last decade. However, at one point they were too much work that we couldn’t take it on alone.
So they built and equipped a team.
Fast forward, & from the LNL guys words “we could not be more proud to have Temika take over this section of our business. Her love and tenderness she pours into each session is unmatched… We are so excited to watch and work along side her as she takes this into the next era. We can say in full confidence that no matter who you have as your “day of team,” you will get the full “Life N Light Experience.””
